ibnlive.com Which of these really drives India today: politics, the economy, societal changes, technology, sports (especially cricket) or movies (especially Bollywood)? Or is it something else altogether? (Sep 5)
"Not sure really! I would think it is politics importantly then our economic growth, development in sports and entertainment in the global level, more conscious society that drive the nation. But I found somewhere I was wrong. All of the entities listed have imperfection, loop holes and they have done something for sure that in my view they are not the drivers. Then my quest for the real driver begins and still I am searching. Perhaps it is the mercy of the almighty that we are doing good even when we and our policy makers do not know how."
The Times of India Nitish offers free passage to Maoists, calls for talks Good move? http://toi.in/RQnVPY (Sep 4)
"It may be a good move if only this is not just an exchange of few maoist for some of our bravest people. They(policemen) also understand that if this problem is not permanently solved and their freedom may not last long even if freed as the released maoists will not spare them with so many others. Govt should not be black-mailed and should see a solution on the long run. Nitish should not see the vested interest keeping the next elections in mind only."

The Times of India Anti-war protesters hurled shoes and eggs at Tony Blair on the first public signing of his fast-selling memoir. (Sep 4)
"The incidents of hurling shoes are in the fashion. Its not only a protest but to attract everyone around the world about his cause. Some times the cause is simply getting fame as the receiver always pardons, (as almost everywhere they were). This can not be achieved by democratic, traditional way of protesting. Though we are free to protest but the way we are allowed takes quite a long time for the people to feel that we are protesting against them. So, this is a new weapon of the new age which gives results as fast as a drone is initiated to take action."
bnlive.com Bihar Hostage Crisis: Is this cause for some temporary relief? (Sep 4)
"Its not a matter of three policemen, what about those innocent security personnel who died fighting with them or killed in an ambush. The Maoist know that they can kill there policemen whenever they want but but they can not create their comrades overnight. It is the time to solve the issue permanently. Seeing this as temporary solution will cost us much more and instead of three again some tens of hundreds women will have to lose their husbands. Its time for talk or negotiation or compromise, and they (maoist) are ready for it as it seems to a layman like me. Governments should work together to take this opportunity."

ibnlive.com What do you feel are some the annoying things foreigners do when they visit India and vice versa? (Sep 4)
"Some people still think we are a poor nation and they always try to convince themselves that its not so as we are progressing determinedly. But how can we hide certain things out of their sight, when we do not bother ourselves. Some times our government tries unsuccessfully to project the brighter side of India only by developing overnight and keeping the hungry and poor people out from some of the places likely to be visited. Some of the foreigners who visit India, they do a lot of humanitarian things for our people what we always try to neglect."

Times Now On The NewsHour today (August 31): Why let it rot? Why can't a trillion dollar economy distribute food among poor rather than let it rot?
" Making fun of supreme courts suggestions by pawar to distribute the grains being rot instead, is highly deplorable. They even do not know how to deal with sensitive issues, they make every place a parliament where you need not mind any thing you speak or do. When people are dying of hunger and remaining are fighting with price rise, they are increasing their own wages. They have lost all senses and souls."
