"We have a different perception of life. We accept so many things as our fate and that is why despite of all the problems our satisfaction index is fairly good."

"There can not be a real time solution for some issues. Its better to move on instead of digging burials. There are so many important and vital things than religion. Religion is to bring peace of mind, but when we do not life at all, whats the value of all fighting. Any judgement can not soothe all people simultaneously."

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah chose to skip the all-party meeting despite being in Delhi.
"One thing should be clear that we can not deal the people who deny the law and regulation with all the human right ethics. We have said a lot to keep our people with us but as it seems some people want not be a part of India, if majority of them want the same thing, there is no harm in leaving it but if majority is with India, forget all human rights. Do the security personnel are not human?"

BBC News Is there any point in trying to save a dying language? (Sep 15)

A conference has been held to discuss how some of the world's most endangered languages could be saved. But what's the point?
"Yes, there is a dire need to save our dying languages. However, Darwin's principle applies here too, only that language survives that is required for our existance. We should make our children modern with languages required to be learnt but should not neglect our own language. Our mother tongue should not be mother's tongue only. All the high budget programs, campaigns can not save a language if dying but only our self respect and love towards our language can."

"Yes they are in trouble, but its not their fault. Any government would have been in the same situation. When people refute law and order, the situation can not be controlled taking into all the human rights ethics. People out of pressure from fundamentalist, frustration, and victim of pseudo-democracy can do whatever they want because history tells them that no one can harm them. Their issues might be genuine but the way they are following some brainwashed people is not very dissimilar than the Maoists'.

On the other hand, what you call the 'civic society' do not bother anything which is not going to affect them directly. They have so many problems of their own and they have to move on despite of some incidents even like 'Mumbai Attacks'. It is only the media that actually keeps the dead things alive but sometimes you too focus on what can be sold in market rather than what should be."

ibnlive.com How relevant is Hindi in India's global march as an economic power? (Sep 14)

ibnlive.in.com
On Hindi Diwas, P Chidambaram promotes the use of Hindi as a national language.
"It is the moral responsibility of people to conserve their language first and then promote it. Whatever we do, it will survive only if it wins the survival of the fittest, only when there is a need mainly on economic platform. Though Hindi is doing great these days, its not because of the whopping money we spend on some 'Hindi Day' or 'Hindi Workshop' but because of the omnipresent of Hindi speaking work force, national capital in the north and most importantly the Television and Bollywood. Instead of spending so much on the name of promotion that proves to be on papers only, the amount deserves to be used in some serious issues we have. One day speech or talk and writing in Hindi will not help at all." (2 like)

People are happy to be called as lower caste or aboriginal, in contrast to what they wanted in ancient times. Its really not possible to include countless castes in form of reservation in India. Second, We should have patience to get our work done instead of making some good people corrupt.
Third, include some stringent laws in the constitution against corruption. If caught once somebody must not be allowed to do any activity involving public funds.
Fourth, the supervisory body should be free in executing their works and not like CVC, CBI, etc. When electing these corrupt people can be boasted to be transparent, why not some organizations.

ibnlive.com What future do you see for Kashmir 10 years from now? (Sep 10)

ibnlive.in.com
Ordinary Kashmiris as well as separatist leaders have been sending their children out of the Valley for a better education.

"Due to lack of political determination and incompetance, the people of J K are suffering. They are facing the plight of Pseudo democracy for last 60 years. The GOI has done a little just to prevent it from being Talibanised, but failed to make peace and development. Today young people, who have nothing to do with all this Independence and separatism, are finding better prospects outside the state and who can not make it, they are the easy pray for the extremists and anti-Indians. The GOI and the people of J K have to solve this problem together NOW to save if not theirs but their children's future. If the larger mass believe that they can be really Independent and can do well out of Indian sovereignity, they should be allowed without any delay. We have paid a lot to protect one of our body parts, but it should not be compromised with the whole body and soul; humanity and development. What do you people say?"

Women in corporate India are squeezing into business suits. But what may connote tradition to a Westerner could telegraph a higher status to an Asian or African woman.

"True, but if you have power and you are embracing the Indian traditions with pride, that will bring you the actual love and respect. Emulating western dress code alone will not be enough to show that the women are empowered now. Why can not someone be like Ms Chanda Kochar. Do you think she is not powerful in corporate life?"

I would think it is politics importantly then our economic growth, development in sports and entertainment in the global level, more conscious society that drive the nation. But I found somewhere I was wrong. All of the entities listed have imperfection, loop holes and they have done something for sure that in my view they are not the drivers. Some times the cause is simply getting fame as the receiver always pardons, (as almost everywhere they were). This can not be achieved by democratic, traditional way of protesting. Though we are free to protest but the way we are allowed takes quite a long time for the people to feel that we are protesting against them. So, this is a new weapon of the new age which gives results as fast as a drone is initiated to take action."

"Its not a matter of three policemen, what about those innocent security personnel who died fighting with them or killed in an ambush. The Maoist know that they can kill there policemen whenever they want but but they can not create their comrades overnight. It is the time to solve the issue permanently. Seeing this as temporary solution will cost us much more and instead of three again some tens of hundreds women will have to lose their husbands. Its time for talk or negotiation or compromise, and they (maoist) are ready for it as it seems to a layman like me. Governments should work together to take this opportunity."

             "
Some people still think we are a poor nation and they always try to convince themselves that its not so as we are progressing determinedly. But how can we hide certain things out of their sight, when we do not bother ourselves. Some times our government tries unsuccessfully to project the brighter side of India only by developing overnight and keeping the hungry and poor people out from some of the places likely to be visited. Some of the foreigners who visit India, they do a lot of humanitarian things for our people what we always try to neglect."

Making fun of supreme courts suggestions by pawar to distribute the grains being rot instead, is highly deplorable. They even do not know how to deal with sensitive issues, they make every place a parliament where you need not mind any thing you speak or do. When people are dying of hunger and remaining are fighting with price rise, they are increasing their own wages. They have lost all senses and souls."
